1. Hen Party planning support

Planning a hen party with The Foxy Hen is as easy as:

  1. Choose item(s) – it can be just an activity or a whole package.
  2. Submit your booking request through the website, with no upfront deposit and no commitment.
  3. We’ll check availability and let you know asap.
  4. Pay for your spot on the trip to secure the booking and invite the girls to make their own payments online.

2. Pre-booking questions

Transparent pricing:

Our policy is to make the hen party as affordable as possible for everybody involved. Companies that offer the “hen goes free” typically hide the cost by overcharging the other group members. To give you complete transparency, we show the price per person upfront and don’t hide costs to your group. Instead, we’ve created a handy tool to help your group cover the cost of the bride.

How to pay for the bride:

There is nothing about the hen party that should be stressful for the bride-to-be…and it’s really common that the group members cover her cost. But this doesn’t mean you need to take the burden of that cost on your own!

We created the Pay For The Hen item, which can be added to your booking so each group member can chip in a small amount to the her cost.

How to add it to your booking:

  1. Go to your chosen destination page and choose your package or the items you want.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the items to the ‘Extras’ section.
  3. Add the Pay For The Hen item to your basket. And you’re done!

If you have already submitted your booking but would like to add this item, simply contact your Hen Party Specialist!

How it works:

By default, each group member is asked to pay €10 to the cost of the bride. This amount can be increased if needed. If too much is paid towards the bride’s cost, well refund the extra to the organiser (which could go towards drinks, transport, kitty etc). If too little is paid, well ask the organiser to pay the shortfall.

Note: There is a €1 / £1 per person admin fee for using this option.

An example of the math would be: Package costs €90/pp + €10/pp to contribute to the hen, so each girl pays €100. Once 10 girls have paid and the €1/pp admin fee processed, the hen’s €90 package will be covered.

No. we completely understand that finalising your hen party group size can take some time.

All you’ll need is your estimated group size when you submit your booking request. It’s fine if your numbers go up or down a bit – the price per person won’t change.

Note: Some items do have a minimum number requirement, so just keep an eye on this.

Yes, you can select as few or as many things as you like.

For example, you could simply book bike hire for 10 people at €12 per person, if that is all you were looking for.

We’re here to make your hen party planning easy, so no package is too big or too small.

On each destination page, you’ll see an option for an Activity Only booking – just select this and choose what you’d like!

Yes, you are very welcome to book only your accommodation through us.

We understand that all hen parties are different and we’re happy to help with whatever your group needs.

To get an estimated price per person for any item or combination of items, simply add them to your basket and check the total amount.

The price will calculate as you add or remove items from your basket so you can find the perfect fit for your budget.

Note: The accommodation price can vary at times but it will give you a very good estimation.

Absolutely!

After you’ve submitted your booking request through the website (which is free!), just let your Booking Manager know you’d like to keep some or all of the items secret and they’ll organise that for you.

Transport is not included in your booking.

In a small number of cases, transport to and/or from activities may be included if it is specifically mentioned in the item on our website and in your itinerary.

We can supply you with contact details for our recommended transport suppliers in any of our destinations if you like. Please chat with us online or contact us for further details.

We always recommend each member of your group take out appropriate travel insurance for your trip. Discuss your trip plans with the your chosen insurance company to make sure you are covered for any activities as well.

3. Submitting your hen do booking request

Simply submit your booking request through the website to check availability for your dates. It’s free to submit and there’s no commitment to proceed – it’s just an initial enquiry so we can check everything.

Once we have your request in our system, we’ll contact your suppliers and let you know asap so you can decide if you’d like to proceed.

Yes. We have a secure payments platform and terms and conditions that are designed to protect you and your payments.

So, we can only process your booking once you have submitted a request through the website.

It is completely free to submit your booking request through the website!

We don’t require a deposit at the time of booking to help give you the flexibility to find the right hen party for you. 

Once we’ve confirmed availability with your suppliers, we will ask the group organiser to pay for their spot on the trip 5 days after the booking has been confirmed or 6 weeks before the booking is due to take place, whichever is earlier. This will act as the non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

If you have made a booking less than 6 weeks before the commencement date, the non-refundable deposit (the organiser’s payment for their spot) is required within 24 hours of the booking request availability being confirmed.

4. After you've submitted your booking

Firstly, thanks for planning your hen party with us!

Now that you’ve submitted your booking request, we just need you to confirm that you’d like to go ahead and check availability. You can do this 2 ways:

  • Click the login button in your confirmation email, log in to your account and click the ‘Confirm’ button on your VIP Booking Page
  • Go to the website, log in to your account and click the ‘Confirm’ button on your VIP booking page

Once you have confirmed, we’ll contact your suppliers to check availability and we’ll be in touch with you asap by email to let you know.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact your Booking Manager via your booking page, chat with us online or contact us.

If you need to request special conditions or requirements for a member of your group, please contact your Booking Manager, chat with us online or contact us as soon as you can so we can work to best accommodate their needs.

Examples of special needs might be:

  • Dietary requirements like veganism, vegetarianism, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance or another food allergy
  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • Elderly group members
  • Underage group members

5. Inviting your group

To invite your hen party group members:

  1. Log into your booking page
  2. Click the ‘Invite’ button near the top or just scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Copy the unique invite link for your booking and share it via WhatsApp, Facebook, email or wherever you like
  4. Or you can add each person into the booking using their name and email address and they’ll receive an email invitation

Contact us if you’d like any help with this step!

If somebody does not have an email address, there are a few options:

  • The group organiser can add the person into the booking using a spare email address of their own and then pay for them online
  • The person without an email address can call and make a payment for themselves over the phone
  • Another member of the group can call and make a payment for that person over the phone

6. Booking changes & cancellations

Booking amendment fees

After the deposit has been paid to secure the booking, if you’d like to make changes (change item times, swap items etc), the group organiser will need to request this with their Booking Manager by email.

If changes are possible, a Booking Amendment Fee will be added to the booking, which will need to be paid for within 3 days or before the trip date, whichever is sooner

The fee amount will depend on when the change is requested:

IRE & EU Destinations: €30
UK Destinations: £25

Amendments types include:

  • Change to date
  • Change to timings
  • Change of activity (if possible)

IRE & EU Destinations: €50
UK Destinations: £45

Amendment types include:

  • Change to date
  • Change to timings
  • Change of activity (if possible)
  • Additional new item (group payment only)

Note: All amendments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed
Note: Group members who join after the payment deadline may be subject to separate late payment fees
Note: If you swap one item in your booking for another, there may be additional amounts that need to be paid for if the new item is a higher price per person.

Booking amendment questions

Group members can join the booking any time before the payment deadline. If members try to pay after the deadline, we won’t be able to guarantee that your chosen suppliers will still have availability for them.

Late joiners may need to pay a late payment fee and we will need to check availability for them and we’ll let them know.

Yes! We completely understand that plans can change, so we will do our best to add anything you want into your hen party package at any time. The sooner you let us know what you want to do, the better chance there will be of getting availability.

It is free to request to add an item to your booking if it is more than 4 weeks away from your start date. Requesting to add an item to your booking within 4 weeks of your start date will incur a €50 / £45 amendment fee.

Note: Just bear in mind that if everyone is paid up and then you add something, people will have to log back in and pay.

If you would like to change your hen party booking date, please contact your Booking Manager by email asap. We are happy to accommodate this, subject to your chosen suppliers’ availability.

If your booking deposit has been paid, then the following amendment fees will apply if the change is successful:

  • Before the booking deposit has been paid: Free
  • After the booking deposit has been paid and more than 4 weeks from booking start date: €30 / £25
  • Less than 4 weeks from booking start date: €50 / £45

If you would like to change your hen party location, you will need to cancel your existing booking in our system, go to your new destination page and submit a new booking request through the website.

Please note that, if you have paid the booking deposit or any group members have made payments on the previous booking, the booking deposit will be lost and normal cancellation terms will apply to other group members’ payments.

If you need to cancel your spot on the trip or you need to cancel the whole hen party, please contact your Booking Manager asap via the booking page to let them know. Or you can chat with us online or contact us.

The below timelines exclude the organiser’s non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable deposit which is required by suppliers to secure availability. Organisers will be made aware of this in advance of any payments being made.

If you are travelling to a destination in Ireland and you need to cancel:

  • More than 6 weeks before the hen party: 90% refund
  • Between 3-6 weeks before the hen party: 50% refund
  • Within 3 weeks of the hen party: No refund

If you are travelling to a destination in the UK or Europe and you need to cancel:

  • More than 6 weeks before the hen party: 90% refund
  • Within 6 weeks of the hen party: No refund

Note: The organiser’s payment of the deposit to secure the booking is non-refundable.

7. Making payments

We request full payment from your group 6 weeks before the commencement date. Any slots that are held with the suppliers that are not paid for at this stage will be released back to them.

We will be happy to add members into your hen party after the 6 weeks deadline but it will be subject to availability with each of your suppliers, payment and admin fees.

To pay for yourself for the hen party, you just need to:

  1. Log into your booking page
  2. Click the ‘Pay’ button on your name in the invite list
  3. And proceed with your payment online through our secure payment gateway.

If you would prefer to pay over the phone, please contact us on the number listed.

Note: Phone payments are subject to a €2/£2 administration charge.

To pay for another member of your hen party group, you just need to:

  1. Log into your booking page
  2. Click the ‘Pay’ button on their name in the invite list
  3. And proceed with your payment online through our secure payment gateway. You can remove any items from the list that they don’t want to take part in before going through to pay, if you need.

If you would prefer to pay for them over the phone, please contact us on the number listed.

Note: Phone payments are subject to a €2/£2 administration charge.

If you would like to pay for 2 or more members of your hen party group, you can do this over the phone. Simply let the team member know how many people you’d like to pay for for each item.

Yes! You can pay in small amounts by paying for individual items in the booking, one or two at a time.

To pay in instalments:

  1. Log into your booking page
  2. Click the ‘Pay’ button on your name in the invite list
  3. Remove any items in the list that you don’t want to pay for yet
  4. Proceed with the payment for any remaining items left selected
  5. Repeat as many times as needed!

Absolutely! If you’re unsure how to make your online payment or you have technical issues, you can contact us and we’ll take your payment securely over the phone.

To pay over the phone, please contact us on the number listed.

Note: Phone payments are subject to a €2/£2 administration charge. This may be waived in the case of technical issues.

If you need to cancel your spot on the trip or you need to cancel the whole hen party, please contact your Booking Manager asap via the booking page to let them know. Or you can chat with us online or contact us.

If you are travelling to a destination in Ireland and you need to cancel:

  • More than 6 weeks before the hen party: 100% refund
  • Between 3-6 weeks before the hen party: 75% refund
  • Within 3 weeks of the hen party: No refund

If you are travelling to a destination in the UK or Europe and you need to cancel:

  • More than 6 weeks before the hen party: 100% refund
  • Within 6 weeks of the hen party: No refund

Note: The organiser’s payment of the deposit to secure the booking is non-refundable.

8. The lead up to your Hen Party

To see all of the items in your hen party booking (including price and times), please log into your booking page and you’ll see the full list there.

Each member of your group will be sent a full itinerary document 10 days before your trip, which will include:

  • Supplier / venue names
  • Addresses
  • Contact numbers
  • Description

If you have any questions before you receive your itinerary, please contact your Booking Manager via your booking page, chat with us online or contact us and we’ll be happy to help!

You’ll receive a full itinerary for your hen party trip 10 days before you leave, which will include the contact names and phone numbers for each of the suppliers.

Please make sure you take a digital or printed copy of the itinerary with you so you can contact your suppliers.

Yes! We’re on call to help you throughout your hen night or weekend to make sure everything continues to go smoothly.

You’ll find the emergency contact number in your itinerary document, which was sent to all registered members of your group 10 days before your trip.

No. All group members need to be paid for via the booking page before the trip.

Your suppliers will have spots held for the group size we have confirmed with them, so availability cannot be guaranteed on the day and may cause confusion.

If you have someone you’d like to add in last minute, please contact us asap to see if we can help.

Please contact the supplier directly asap, using the number in your itinerary document, to let them know.

If you can’t reach them, please contact us using the emergency number in your itinerary document and we’ll see if we can reach them.

9. Post-Hen Party

Absolutely! We love to hear from our groups after they’ve been away. And we really want to know everything – what did you love? What could be improved on?

10. Accommodation information

We use a number of fantastic hen party friendly accommodation providers in each of our locations.

Some accommodation venues are named. If is it not, it may mean that we use a number of providers for that destination and venue we use will depend on the number of people you invite and what is available at the time you make your booking.

This will vary based on which accommodation you select and which activity your hen party are going to.

Most of our accommodation providers have ample parking for your hen party but not all.
